Donna Mae Flemming, 77

December 28, 2024

Donna Mae Flemming, 77, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Oreville B. and Frances Martha (Mellinger) Plasterer. She was the loving wife of Rodney L. Flemming, Jr. and they were married for 57 years.

Donna was a 1965 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and dedicated over 20 years of her life to helping others as a Personal Care Aid before retiring. Donna had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, sloths, and dolphins. One of her greatest joys was visiting Sea World in Ohio, where she cherished the opportunity to see and touch dolphins, creating memories she carried with her always. Above all, Donna treasured her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in being a part of their lives.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Flemming, Jr.; her children, Kimberly (Michael) Rineer, Kerry (Shawn) Madonna, Eric (Johanna) Flemming; and grandchildren, Kevin, Ashton, Jordan, Michael, RyAnn, Spencer, and Cutler.

Friends and family will be received from 10am to 11am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11am.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donna’s name to Hospice & Community Care, Development Office, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
