Doris M. Wolf, 90, of Lancaster, PA, died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry Wolf who died in 2010.
Born in Lancaster, PA on July 11, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Mary Elizabeth (Greulich) Greiner.
Doris worked in the purchasing department for Armstrong World Industries prior to her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she was a member.
Mrs. Wolf is survived by daughters, Deborah Sahd of Mebane, NC and Marianne Walsh of Lancaster, PA; four grandchildren, Matthew Dell husband of Kimberly of Woodinville, WA, Danielle Bates wife of Richard of Jacksonville, FL, Joshua Dell of Mebane, NC and James Walsh, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Dell; two sisters, Jeanne Rathsom wife of Charles and Mary Ann Kirchner wife of Edward both of Lancaster, PA. Doris was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph G. Greiner, Jr. and a sister, Frances Heikas.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 from 10am to 11am with a Memorial Mass to follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 West Walnut Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am prior to the Memorial Mass. Interment will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA.
