Dorothy E. DeMascola, 99, of Lancaster, passed away on October 1, 2024.
She was the wife of the late Albert DeMascola, who passed away in 1981. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick A. and Elizabeth R. Schlater Tucker.
Dorothy had been a homemaker,and had worked in her later years in the cafeteria at Reynolds Middle School in Lancaster city.
She was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church.
Dorothy is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandson, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert and Michael, and her brother, Carl Tucker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 1PM at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Charles Rd., Lancaster.

I had the privilege of working with Dottie at Reynolds Junior High School from 1982-90. She was a delightful, thoughtful and caring person. Shje interacted warmly with everyone. May her memory be a blessing.

Dottie was always a wonderful presence at the Reynolds cafeteria and after her retirement when I would see her at Wendy’s. A wonderful,sweet lady. I will miss her.

My sincerest condolences to the family & friends of Dorothy DeMascola. In particular to her grandchildren Laura, Dani, and Jodie and her great grandchildren.
Dot and I corresponded for some time after I moved to Texas in the 80’s. I still have and cherish those letters and cards. She was an exceptionally kind and wonderful soul and a true friend.

Ms. DeMascola was always such a pleasure to talk to. I looked forward to a hug and conversation after mass on saturday evenings at St. Philips. Your family will be in my prayers. May she rest in peace.
