Dorothy E. Westermann, 93

Dorothy E. Westermann, 93 of Lancaster, passed away at home after a short illness.

Though born in New York City, she was a lifelong resident of Lancaster and graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School, and later, Valparaiso University with a major in music.

She was an organist at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Lititz, where she was an active member, and also at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lancaster.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl H. Westermann and by her son Peter N. Westermann. She is survived by a son, Paul M. Westermann of Angels Camp, CA, a daughter, Patricia L. Westermann of Mount Joy, and a grandson, Paul K. Westermann.

Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held at 1PM, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
