Dorothy “Snook” Merker, 79 of Leola, PA passed away on Sunday, January 9th. Born in Hazelton, PA she was the daughter of the late William Michael and Mary “Marie” Kehoe Michael.
Snook retired from Weinstock Conestoga.
She is survived by her daughters Wanda (wife of Patrick Snyder), Wendy, Lisa, Paula (Raheem) and Pamela (wife of Jarrod Betts). 2 foster sons Michael and Anthony (husband of Rachel), 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Andrew (husband to Kelly), Tony (fiancé of Jen), Deanna, Marcus (fiancé of Chariz), Darion, Isaiah, Tiana (fiancé of Priscilla), Taysia, Arianna, and Jaterra, and 6 great grandchildren, Logan, Lincoln, Sophia, Amariya, Ja’Zion and Layani. Snook had a big heart, she was everyone’s Nana.
She is reunited with her loving husband Paul and all the family and friends that have passed before her.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.

Snook was a very kind loving person. She and pop opened they’re doors and heart to me and a lot of others with out judgement. She was also very funny and loved to laugh. Mom Snook you will be very much missed but never forgotten. I will be keeping the family in prayer. The Dodd family
