Dorothy Kurtz Neuroh, 91

Dorothy Kurtz Neuroh, 91, of Lititz, PA, passed away on March 30, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Thompson) Kurtz. Dorothy was the wife of the late Frank Charles Neuroh.
A WWII veteran, Dorothy served in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of St. James Catholic church as well as their Silver Liners group. She also chaired and served on several church committees and volunteered in the office. She also was an avid bingo player at the church. Dorothy volunteered at the Warwick High School cafeteria. She enjoyed old movies, playing scrabble, reading, attending craft shows and book sales and basking in the sun. Dorothy loved her cat, Obie, strawberries and collecting giraffes.
Surviving are six children: Susan Rudophi, Judith McCoy, Kathleen Hoffman, wife of Robert, Daniel Neuroh, husband of Pamela, Michael Neuroh and Stephen Neuroh; ten grandchildren: Erin & Ryan McCoy, Max & Mary Hoffman, Maggie Rudolphi Linn, Anna, Sally, Patty, Molly & Will Rudolphi; and her cat, Obama Neuroh (Obie).
Dorothy was preceded in death by two children: Patricia & Timothy Neuroh.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Lebanon VA Home Base Primary Care and Compassionate Care Hospice for their kindness and care of their mother, Dorothy.
A viewing will take place from 6-8 PM on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM on April 7, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
