My heartfelt condolences to all of Doug’s loved ones. As one who grew up in Lititz but am now a thousand miles southward, I rely on Facebook to keep up with many PA friends. It was great to get to know Doug on FB in the last couple of years–I admired his philosophical and political views, and he seemed so healthy and happy that I am having a hard time accepting the suddenness of this sad news. Which is always how I react to the passing of good prople. May you find comfort and strength at this challenging time. Judith Ebbert Porter

My deepest sympathy to your family with this sudden tragic loss of such a wonderful guy.  We went to school together at Warwick and I have the fondest memories of him playing basketball and me cheerleading.  He was and still has been very kind to me, funny, making me laugh on FB and I so enjoyed his pride in his family and his sports enthusiasm.   Go Yankees!!!  He will be missed by so many.  My prayers are with you.   Bonnie Adams
