Douglas G. “Doug” Eshleman, 72, of Willow Street, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his residence.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Lausch) Eshleman. He was the loving husband of the late Joyce A. Eshleman.

Doug worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Doug dedicated his life to working with his hands—whether it was under the hood of a car or behind the grill at Enck’s Catering, where he once cooked for NASCAR events. Doug had a true passion for old vintage cars. Doug and his wife, Joyce, were longtime members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lancaster. He was also a member of the 8th Ward Club. A simple man at heart, Doug found joy in the little things—good food, loyal friends, and the unconditional love of his family, whom he cherished above all else.

He is survived by his children, Jessica (Nicholas) Finicle, and Michael (Samantha Shiner) Eshleman; and his brother, Steve (Sandy) Eshleman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; and his sisters, Bonnie Rinier and Sue Wydila.
