Unfortunately I have moved to Florida and discovered his passing only today. Anoop is a genuinely kind person. I have had challenges in my career long as a radiologist and he was always there for me. The consummate cheerleader. Through it all we always shared a laugh. What was always clear was his devotion to his family. He loves them dearly. I’m so sorry.

I came to know Dr. Anoop Duggal through the MAMC Global Plus whatsapp group created by him. I had a telephonic talk with him few months ago and, despite his terminal illness, I found him to be a lively person, very knowledgeable and always willing to help others. Om Shanti.

It is with a very heavy heart that we write this on the untimely passing of a great and kind man who cared so much for everyone around him. When I last saw him several months ago, he was in a wheelchair but carried himself with such grace despite the unimaginable pain he was probably experiencing. We pray for his soul to rest in everlasting peace and extend our deepest condolences and prayers to Preeti and the extended family.

I am Dr Veer Bhushan, Anoop’s friend from school days. His illness came as a shock to me. His inner strength and courage to fight the disease the magnitude of he knew, being a doctor himself, yet kept a brave and smiling face for all of us to keep our spirits up, talks volumes of that strength. May his soul find peace and place at the feet of the almighty. May his family find strength to bear his loss. God bless.

Anoop was my cousin brother. I am not just sad but devastated that such a kind hearted soul who had done so much for so many people in their time of crisis has been taken away from us so early.
We used spend time together, laugh and joke around from very early days.
He helped me during my crisis. He stayed with me saw me thru the crisis. He was selfless, fearless at the time crisis. He went through so many struggles of his own. Yet found the energy, the will, the time to help others when they reached out to him.
I cannot even begin to how many people of all ages – children, adults, older people whom I have witnessed being helped thru crisis including many extended family members.
He went out of the way umpteen times for others sometimes at a huge person cost to him.
He is an irreplaceable loss in a number of ways.
He touched my heart and many hearts.. one could rely on in at time of crisis.
He may have gone but will forever remin in my heart and I will sorely miss him. It is so hard to think he is not there.
I hope and pray his soul gets peace and happiness .

What a loss😢. Never met dr anoop but spoke to him a couple of times over phone last month. A true friend, guide and leader. Despite his illness, he sounded so positive and giving at all times. Dunno how someone can feel so close despite having not met physically.
God bless the departed soul and may he give strength to the family to bear this immense loss.

Saying goodbye to a lifetime friend like Anoop is undoubtedly heart-wrenching. We will always cherish loving memory of our dear friend, a jovial and flamboyant soul who brought class and intelligence to every moment. The loss is quite profound, and the realization that we can no longer call or text him anytime is difficult to bear. His dedication to his work as a physician, a devoted family man who also deeply cared for his parents and mother-in-law, leaves a lasting legacy. Anoop’s readiness to help anyone, be it a friend or a stranger, showcases the rare kindness he embodied. Witnessing his positivity and strength even in illness reflects the ferocious fighter he was.I have so many sweet memories of him at the medical school and hostel. The fun times together were marked by music festivals, parties, hill station vacations are a testament to the vibrant spirit he infused. His initiative to connect all MAMC graduates, fostering a free flow of ideas across alumni, reflects his commitment to unity. He was the glue that held our batchmates together as he effortlessly kept track of everyone and orchestrated many memorable moments like reunions. His untimely passing leaves a profound vacuum that is unlikely to ever be filled. May his legacy of connection and joy endure in our hearts. His spirit of camaraderie and joy will be dearly missed. May his vibrant spirit be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege to be his friend. May his soul rest in peace.
