Dear Family
I have very fond memories of your father/grandfather from Turkey Hill and Supper Bell Foods. I worked one summer with your Dad, Julian Cruz and Joe Torado in the soup kitchen. I learned to drink coffee with them with lots of sugar and lots of cream! I wondered whether there was really any coffee in it. I have to say your Dad made some great PA Dutch food! Eddie was a very kind man and a good boss. Perhaps you guys have heard him say “Let’s keepem a movin! His gentle urging for us to keep our hands busy picking chicken, peeling potatoes or hard boild eggs. After Supper Bell was sold, the crew switched to making ice cream and Eddie was trusted once again with the recipes and making sure the ice cream like the pot pie was made according to Grandma Freys recipe.
I want you to know Eddie was loved and respected by the Frey Family. He lived a long and good life. My Dad (Emerson) died just a month short of his 95th birthday, but Eddie made it to his 95th. Good for him!
I pray you all can walk in the hope of Eddie being home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you all and may you know his peace and comfort as you experence the large hole that Eddies passing has left in your life.
I miss my days when I could talk to Eddie. What a warm and friendly man.

Eddie, Victor, Tony, Raymond and Family:
Uncle Eddie will be missed so much. As a child I remember visiting Uncle Eddie and Auntie Aurora accross the street, and it was always one of my most cherished memories. I just remember always laughing. It was such a happy home. He was always proud of each and everyone of you. You could see it in his eyes when he spoke of you guys and his grandchildren. My own children got to meet him several times, and fell in love with his personality and whit! I will never forget him. May he finally rest in peace next to his beloved Aurora! Please receive our condolences and love. Pito and Family…
