Edwin J. “Ed” Schulz, 90

Edwin J. “Ed” Schulz, 90, of Lancaster, died peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Gardens of Stevens. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edwin C. and Josephine Schmitt Schulz. Ed was the loving husband of Nancy Stockbauer Schulz who passed away in 2014.
Ed was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where he was a member of the drama club, and where he met his wife, Nancy. He proudly graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School and Franklin & Marshall College.
After school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was a navigator and served his country for four years.
Ed founded his own business, Tryum Corp., a bread snacks operation which was located on Centerville Road. He had a love for traveling, especially to Europe, and listening to music.
Surviving are five children, Stephen Schulz husband of Robyn Rowe, Michael “Mick” husband of Kathleen Ecenroad Schulz, Karen wife of Joseph Burke, Patricia wife of Darrell Becker, Theresa “Tracy” wife of Keith Felizzi, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. He was the youngest of four children. Preceding him in death was a daughter, Kathleen Fisher.
A memorial service for Edwin will be held at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Sympathies to Mick, Patty, Steve and the whole Schultz family. I used to work in the office at Greenfield and continue to fondly remember both Ed and Nancy. One memory that brings a smile is “On the way to Cape May…” It is a nice picture of Ed that was chosen. Wishing you peace and comfort as you mourn the loss, Cindy (Carter) Shuman
