Eleanor Graf Ottolini, 97

Eleanor (Ellie) Graf Ottolini, 97, of Willow Valley Communities, Lancaster, PA. died on April 14, 2025. Born in Trenton, NJ, the only child of the late Herman and Amelia (Roff) Graf. She was married to Karl Heinz Ottolini for 72 years until his passing in 2023, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millersville, PA.
Eleanor earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Business Education from Rider College in 1948 and then taught high school business subjects in New Jersey. She was a charter member of St. Philip’s Lutheran Church in Wilmington, DE. where she was very active. She also served in many organizations including being Chairman of the Millcreek Hundred Republican party. Eleanor volunteered at the Martin Luther Foundation and Lutheran Senior Services in Wilmington. She undertook graduate studies at the University of Delaware and worked part time for several organizations developing business related computer systems.
In later years, Eleanor was employed as Associate Director of Lutheran Senior Services with responsibility for senior housing at Luther Towers in Wilmington and as Comptroller for the Resettlers, Inc. in Centreville, DE.
Eleanor and her husband moved to Willow Valley in 1999. She developed computer applications related to her volunteer activities at Willow Valley’s health care center. She also served on the Lakes Campus resident council.
She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by daughter Karol, husband the late Gilbert E. Wilson, Virginia Beach, VA; son Karl H., wife Molly McGill, Ottolini, Springfield, VA; and twin granddaughters, Beth, husband Nathan Benhart, Chicago, IL; Kate, husband Andrew Krouse, and great granddaughters, Amy and Natalie Krouse, Springfield, VA.
A service and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
