Elio E. Wilson, 33
April 30, 2018
Elio E. Wilson, 33, of Lancaster, passed away on April 30, 2018 after a long, hard fight with his illness.
A soldier in Gods eyes, Elio was strong, humble, and kind to everyone he met. He never held a grudge and, most importantly, never gave up.
He was a true artist with talents in drawing and cutting hair. Elio loved spending time outdoors among nature and in the water while at the beach. He was a master gamer, an incredible basketball player, and an excellent cook. He was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Francisco 49ers. Though he was a man of many passions and talents, he cared about family the most. He dearly loved any time he was able to spend with his family, especially his son, Jeremiah.
He is survived by his son; Jeremiah Wilson, mother; Bertha Wilson, step-father; Angel Amaro, siblings; Tara Schley, Jeffrey Wilson, and Eric Westfall; Yvette, Bettina, Angel, Linda, and Abe Rodriguez Jr., his dogs; Scarface and Hercules, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly, and many, many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Turner family for all of their support through these difficult times.
A Service for Elio will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home located at 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. Family will be receiving guests prior to the service from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given on Jeremiah’s behalf to Tara Schley, “Care of Jeremiah Wilson”, at Fulton Bank, 20 E. McGovern Ave. Lancaster, PA 17602.

I am so sorry for the loss of Elio. I know that he was a devoted father and loved his son, Jeremiah, very much. I taught Jeremiah last year in K4 at King Elementary. I hope that Elio’s spirit and joy for life will continue on in Jeremiah. I pray for the family that they are able to find some peace in knowing that Elio will be watching over them.
My deepest condolences,
Kristine Ebersole
