Elizabeth W. Wolf, 90

Elizabeth W. Wolf, 90, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. Born in Salunga, PA she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Eva (Eichert) Wolf.
She resided in Salunga for over 30 years before moving to Lancaster.
Elizabeth was employed by RCA and Armstrong before deciding to leave her career to raise a family. It was during this time she was a babysitter to many neighborhood children who called her house home. Later she was employed by Watt and Shand from where she eventually retired. She was an avid gardener, baker, and loved to listen and dance to polka music. Known to many as Betty, but known to family as Mom, Grandma, and Gramma-Gramma. She will be missed deeply but live in our hearts forever.
She was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she served on the bereavement committee and taught Sunday school for many years.
She is survived by her son, Michael S. Puckett, husband of Sue, of Austin, TX; 3 daughters, Patricia Wall, of Lancaster, Theresa Butz, of Boise, ID, and Lisa Trower, wife of D. Scott, of Lancaster. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Wendy, Casey, Clint, Natalie, Lauren, Logan and 7 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Devin, Cameron, Lyndi, James, Warren, and William. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stewart Puckett, second husband, William A. Wolf, 2 brothers, Adam and Nicholas Wolf and a son, William T. Wolf.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

To the Family of Elizabeth Wolf We are sorry to read of Betty’s demise. We knew Betty for many yrs and lived in the same neighborhood in Lanc. Twp. East. Our children attended the same elementary school. She was a lovely person and was involved in many community affairs. She will be missed greatly by many that knew her.
