Jere H. Denlinger, 92

Jere H. Denlinger entered Heaven, into the arms of Jesus, as His good and faithful servant on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the age of 92. He then wrapped his loving arms around his beloved wife, Esta who entered Heaven 2 ½ years prior.
Jere was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, loving husband and father to his wife and his 7 children, and a man of strong faith.
He provided for his family working over 40 years as production manager at Specialty Screw Machine Products and after his retirement, enjoyed driving for NAPA Auto Parts part-time.
Jere was a Staff Sargent in the US Air Force from Year 1951 to 1955, stationed in Alaska for most of his time.
Jere is an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan. He also enjoyed doing his newspaper word search and jumble daily.
Jere is survived by 7 children, Jill D. Groff (Tim); J. Michael Denlinger (Jann); Jeffrey M. Denlinger (Ann); Judy R. Hertzler (Marc); Thomas J. Denlinger (Sue); Eric T. Denlinger and Kyle M. Denlinger (Jeanene). Was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his wife, Esta, he was preceded in death by his parents. A. Lewis Denlinger Sr. and Catharine E. (Geist) Denlinger, his brother A. Lewis Denlinger Jr. and his sister, Joanne D. Hostetter. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Noah.
Jere was a long-time member of The Worship Center, was a faithful attendee up until his calling into his eternal home. His love for our Heavenly Father was evident in his everyday life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at The Worship Center. Family and friends will be received from 10AM until the time of service.

Jill, Mike, Jeff, Judy, Tom, Eric, and Kyle (and spouses) – We are so sorry for your loss. You were blessed to have such a kind, sweet father and he will be greatly missed. We pray that knowing your father is in the presence of Jesus and reunited with your dear mother, helps to ease your sorrow. Our deepest sympathy and love.
