Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was a joy to work with Eric and we will never forget the man and all the help he brought to the Canadian team every day.
Eric trained with Isabelle and Arturo, members of the Canadian team, and they have very fond memories of their interactions then and of the kindness of his words ever since. He always kept a personal level relationship with them making it even more fun working together.

Hi Sue,
I just met you at the 40 year reunion, you very sweetly and kindly spent time with my 9 year old son Rocco who was probably a bit bored with it all. Thank you for entertaining him.
I am writing this to let you know how Eric spoke of you, which I’m sure you know but this is what he told me. How incredibly happy and fortunate he felt to have met and married you, how you loved him amazed him and the way you laughed at his jokes and how happy it made him to make you laugh and I could feel how deeply and totally happy and satisfied you made him as a man, I could feel it in every word he spoke about you. I don’t know you but I feel so broken hearted about his passing having stood in his presence just days before he died and talked with him and enjoyed being with him at the 40 year reunion. He talked about his kids in the same manner, amazed and grateful for all he had experienced and enjoyed being a husband and father. He really seemed completely happy and grateful for his life and family. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Eric’s passing. Eric was always a kind and patient colleauge and mentor, going out of his way to pass on his expertise and answer questions. He was so generous with his time and always a pleasure to be around. I will so miss his company and help with things, but am happy he finally gets to be with the Lord in eternity. Prayers and blessings to his friends and family.
