Fannie Troccoli, 92
May 03, 2015
Fannie Troccoli, 92, died at her Manheim Township home on Sunday, May 3, 2015. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gennaio and Andonetto Ricevuto. Fannie’s husband of 59 years, Pat R. Troccoli, died in 2004.
During WWII she worked as a seamstress in Brooklyn making uniforms for our soldiers. Fannie and her husband moved to Lancaster County 30 years ago to be near her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than to cook and feed her family and friends. Fannie loved life, enjoyed driving her family crazy and was the life of any party she attended.
She enjoyed word puzzles, being with her family and playing cards with her friends. Fannie lovingly crocheted many blankets for her grandchildren, and in anticipation of great-grandchildren, of which she had 2 to celebrate this past year.
A member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, she was involved in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council #867.
Fannie is survived by her daughter JoAnn M. Troccoli of Massapequa, NY, and her son Thomas P. Troccoli, husband of Sandra of Lancaster; four married grandchildren: Patrick T. “Tee” Troccoli of California, MD, James R. Troccoli of Lancaster, Toni Jean Christoffel of Lancaster and Brook Lyn DeJesus of Lancaster; and two great grandchildren, with a third expected in June.
Mass will take place 10 AM Saturday, May 9, 2015, at St. John Neumann, Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601, with Rev. David Danneker, Ph.D. as Celebrant. Viewings will take place on Friday from 6 to 9 PM, with a Christian Prayer Service at 6 PM, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, and also on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at the church. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.

Dear Joanne,
It was a privilege to take care of your mom.I’ll miss her cheek pinches n gentle face pats.I’ve taken care of people for over 25 yrs but have never met a more selfless, diligent daughter as you-taking care of every detail, and working side by side-often long distance- with those of us who helped care for your mother. It was an honor to meet and get to know you. Please forgive my absence at the viewing and Mass,as I was unable to attend as planned.
Loads of comforting ,healing thoughts & prayers being sent to you and all of the Troccoli family.
Lots of Love,
Debbie Evans xx
