Frank X. Hoelldobler, 87

Frank X. Hoelldobler, 87, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at LutherCare.
Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Franz X. and Teresa Soldenwagner Hoelldobler. He was the husband of the late Ann M. Geiner Hoelldobler who passed away in 1999.
Frank had served as the sexton for St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Ridgewood, NY from 1976 to 1991. Prior to this, he had worked for the Rheingold Brewery of Brooklyn, NY.
He was a die-hard New York Mets fan and loved to watch old westerns.
He attended St. James Catholic Church.
Frank is survived by his children: Anne M. Hoelldobler companion to Barbara Bartolema of Lititz, Frank M. husband of Frances M. Hoelldobler of East Meadow, NY, and Michelle M. married to Paul M. Rebello of Leola; his grandchildren Paul, Andrew, Matthew, and Elizabeth; and his siblings, both of Germany: Sep married to Fenie Hoelldobler and Lotti married to Hans Zeitler He was preceded in death by his brother, John Hoelldobler.
Friends will be received on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 9:30-11AM at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA with the Mass to follow at 11AM. Interment in Linden Hill cemetery in Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Frank’s memory to Warwick Community Ambulance Association, 151 North Lane, Lititz, PA 17543.
