Dear Suzie, Patsy and all the Heilbron Family,
My sympathy for the loss of your Uncle Fred. He was a good neighbor and a fixture on Woods Avenue, at Sacred Heart and wherever there was a fire or accident in Lancaster Township. He was sharp and always had some friendly advice. Also, his place is still known as Freddy’s house to the longer inhabitants of Woods Avenue.
Sincerely,
Terrie Finger

To all of the nieces and nephews,
Uncle Freedie (as I called him) was a friend to all. I can clearly picture him ushering at Sacred Heart Church, or seeing him downtown. He was so proud of all of you and always loved to chat about you and keep me in the loop. He remembered my name even when our paths wouldn’t cross for long periods of time. Uncle Fred was great man. It is never easy to say goodbye. I am thinking of all of you.
Sinceerly,
Mollie Lichty Fahnestock

Uncle Fred was a very special person. He made friends wherever he was. The Bissell family will miss him.
His 87 years are a great example of a life well-lived.
