George Ewing, Jr., 85

October 22, 2024

George Ewing, Jr., age 85, of Lititz passed away on October 22, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Emma (Moore) Ewing, Sr. and the beloved and devoted husband of 64 years to Lynn Ewing.

George was a Certified Public Accountant and former owner of Hoffman Seeds for 25 years where he retired. When not working, he enjoyed sports and was a skilled tennis player, bowler and golfer. George cherished traveling, with destinations like Niagara on the Lake and Bermuda holding a special place in his heart.

In addition to his wife Lynn of Lititz, George is survived by his daughters: Debbie Ibach and Susan Whiteside (wife of Joseph) both of Lititz; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and one brother: E. Reese Ewing.

A gathering of friends to remember George’s life will be held on November 2, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543.
