Condolences to the Family

My memories of Dr. Kimber are fond and filled with a joyful gratitude. He served as my pastor at Dillsburg BIC and his commitment to God was a lesson in itself. What a blessing to have had this humble servant of God cross my life’s path. I am sure the words, “Well done My good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord” were offered when he met his Savior and friend in paradise.

To Dr. Kimber’s family-As his former student at Messiah, allow me to thank you, as his family for sharing Dr. Kimber with the rest of the world. He was tremendous as a teacher and excited when one of us in class had a “light bulb” moment and got whatever theological concept was that he was teaching on in class that day.

I was saddened momentarily as I read about George’s passing. He was a great professor beloved by many Messiah students over the years. Blessed with the gifts of encouragement and preaching George guided many a soul to find life in Christ and counsel Christians toward greater abundance. But after I remembered George’s joyful spirit I know he entered his glorious new life in heaven with an actual celebration that is only part of the hope for those who remain earthbound in Christ. My deepest condolences to his family. A true example of a life well lived in Christ! Bill Strausbaugh
