I just heard of Jerry’s passing. I have many fond memories of seeing him and his beloved Narnia at mass at St. Mary’s. He was a comforting presence.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his and all the souls of the faithfully departed, by the Mercy of God, Rest In Peace. John Claus

To Jerry’s family:
We absolutely adored sitting with him at mass and hearing his wonderful stories (and sometimes him trying to persuade a furry friend to not sit on our laps!). We will greatly miss seeing him there and enjoying his company. Our prayers are with all of you in this time of loss.

dear family of Jerry,
it is with great sadness i learned of Jerry’s death. Jerry was a teacher – he once in lieu of a sermon, at mass, gave a talk to the children there, telling them how to tell what a dollar bill is and many other ways of coping while being blind. he was always positive and loved being at St Mary’s. I will miss him.
