Gerald Scott Clement, 62
May 24, 2022
G. Scott Clement, 62 of Strasburg passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2022. He was a devoted and loving husband to Susan, together 19 years, married for 2.
His passions included the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Phillies, riding his Harley, and hunting at the Porcupine Palace aka “the Pork” in Michigan. Scott was a fun-loving goofball with a heart of gold and hugs to warm your soul. He was an excellent friend to have in your rolodex. A guy who always had your back and would help in any way he could with no task being too far out of reach.
He retired from Penndot in 2018 after 33 years of service. He truly seized the four years he had after retiring. Scott and Sue toured United States and Canada four times. Pitching a tent in charming vagabond fashion, conquering national parks, and touching base with unique oddities along the way. Scott had said how truly blessed he felt for the opportunity to adventure so freely.
He is survived by his wife Susan, multiple adoring stepchildren, and grandchildren that loved their Pop Pop Scott dearly. As well as four brothers, one sister, and large extended family.
Preceding him in death are his step-son Jacob, his sister Jay, and his parents Byron and Marilyn.
A time to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on Friday, June 10 from 5-7 PM at Bachman-Snyder Funeral Home, 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, with a service to begin at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Scott’s name to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

Scott:
So many memories growing up with you and your brothers. Being your 5th unofficial brother we had so much fun growing up together. Yes, there were times we fought but we were always able to rein in our emotions and move on. Life happens and we drifted away. I will miss you. Dave
My heart goes out to your family!

Susan and family, I am so sorry to hear of Scotts passing. I met you both when I was working at Tractor Supply in Strasburg many years ago and loved when you both would come in and bring your Great Dane. I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around all of you and bring peace to your hearts as you go through this difficult time. God Bless, love and prayers.
