My sincerest sympathy at this time of deep loss to your family. My name is Donna and I got to know Gerry when working with her at Luther Acres. I worked in the therapy department and she worked throughout the building but including our department. Everyone in our department, and in the whole of Luther Acres I’m sure, felt privledged to have her there. There was never a problem to big for her to solve, no request an inconvience – you could always count on Gerry !
I always felt my day got better when she was there, sometimes she was busy and would smile from down the length of the hallway, sometimes she would saddle up next to you with her big cart and crack a joke that would have you laughing the rest of the day or spend some time sharing stories – they were the best !
And of course there were the days , and many of them, she would bring special desserts from home to share. But the thing I’ll miss most will be her laugh , and of course her New Jersey accent !!
