Gladys M. (Martin) Hostetter, 87

Gladys M. (Martin) Hostetter, 87, of Ephrata, formerly of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Keystone Villa. Born in Brunnerville, PA, Gladys was the youngest daughter of the late J. Amos and Katie (Boose) Martin. She was the loving wife of the late Floyd M. Hostetter, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Gladys was a homemaker for many years and also worked various jobs outside the home. She was a woman of deep faith and attended Trinity Baptist Church. She was known for her pies, and her macaroni salad, always bringing comfort and joy to gatherings. Gladys enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens. Most of all, Gladys was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished time spent with her family.

Gladys is survived by her children: Kevin Hostetter, married to Sharon, of Lititz; KarLee Auker, married to Reuben, of Manheim; Keith Hostetter, married to Carmen, of Lititz; and Kathryn “Kathy” Mullen, married to Lawrence, of Three Springs. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Abigail, Matthew, Cody, Kyle, Shannon, and Jared; thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Amos and Katie Martin, her husband Floyd, and her sisters: Evelyn Balmer, Miriam Hollinger, and Iva Seppi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.
