Helen J. Plants, 59, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital.

She had been a homemaker and US Air Force spouse for her husband Edwin’s 20 year career.
Helen loved fishing, metal detecting, boating, playing the slots and had a love of good food, especially hot hot buffalo wings and a good chili dog. She also enjoyed bowling, visiting museums and theaters, good horror movies, motorcycles and vacationing with Ed. Her other interests included animals, ghost tours, mini-golf, Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop and Gothic themed attractions.
She was the perfect housewife and was an angel to all of her elderly neighbors that needed care and assistance. Helen was a woman of great faith in God and Jesus.
In addition to her husband, Ed, she is survived by her siblings: Larry Day of Hyde Park, NY, Karen Mitchell of Moon, SC, and Lori Sioleski of Kingston, NY.
