Helen R. Droney, 58, of New Providence, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
She was the wife of the late John D. Droney, who passed away in 2008. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Ranck Dickersheid.
Helen had worked in years past at Burger King on Lincoln Highway.
She had a love for animals, enjoyed classic country music, and her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Toni married to Martin Sherrer of New Providence, her son Timothy married to Teresa Droney of Ephrata and her grandchildren: Rebecca, John and Joshua Sherrer. Helen is also survived by her siblings: Victoria Leaman of Lancaster, SandraWeit of Connecticut, Linda Gordner of Berwick , PA, Karen Hoskins of Lancaster, Robert Dickersheid of Berwick and Richard Dickersheid of Quarryville, and by many nephews and a niece.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
