Dear Millie, Yesterday I re-counted the story to my daughter in law of how you and Les stood by Nelson and I in 1987, while we were going through the pregnancy over the birth of our first son. Now that young man is a healthy US Marine. Your prayers and encouragement meant so much to us and I always remember yall when I think of those times. Remembering that inspired me to look yall up on google and that is how I found Les’s obituary. I am so sorry to learn of your loss! You are in our thoughts and prayers! ~ two of your Victory Chapel friends, Nelson and Dora Messner

Dear Millie and family, This is Doris (Shenk) Mohler who married your cousin, Harold Mohler. Of course, you will recall that you made my wedding gown when you still lived near Willow Street along Route 272. You and I also worked together on Central Market selling lunch meats and cheese.
We were so sorru to read of Les’ death, and especially of his battle with Alzheimer’s. In September of 2015 my oldest brother died of the same devastating illness at age 79 in Virginia.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish I could have heard you and Les sing!
From Harold and Doris Mohler
