James D. Snader, 87
March 28, 2021
James Daniel Snader, 87, of Lititz, passed away on March 28, 2021 at Fairmount Homes. Born in Manhiem, he was the son of the late Daniel W. and Lilly M. (Wingenroth) Snader. He was also the husband of the late Lillie Snader, with whom he shared over 60 years of marriage.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
James worked as a tow motor operator for Armstrong for over 30 years.
Cars were James’ great passion in life. He enjoyed watching car shows on TV, participating in local shows with his personal vehicles, and fixing up old cars to bring them back to their former glory. James’ prized possession was his ’67 Mustang that he restored. He liked to show off at all the car shows and take it on scenic drives. Driving on the backroads with his family were cherished memories that they share, enjoying the time together and the scenery.

He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild and another on the way. I am so sorry to Linda, Donna and Scott for your loss, I am one of his 10 sisters. James was a loving soul he loved his whole family! After he lost his licence He would call me to take him for Grocries each week. I was glad to take him. He would talk about his, kids, grandkids a great grandkids he was so proud of all of them. Sometimes I would take him to sit with Ryons kids or just be with their sweet family. That was the high lite of his life being with his family. He told me he prayed for each one of them each day and read his Bible too. His wife Lilly, our parents, my 8 sisters are having a reunion with Jesus up in Heaven celebrating!
Your baby sister Gloria Nauman

Dear Linda and Donna and family,
Your Dad was extra special to me in the fact that he cared for my Mother (Esther Baer). She really enjoyed his visit’s and all he did for her while she lived @ home. Then when she had a stroke and moved in w/me she looked forword to his visits also. They shared alot together. I always enjoyed teasing him about his cute beard and sometimes would pull on it to get him going. And also how he cared for my Brother (Sam Baer). He blessed him alot financially and Sambo really appreciated that. So I just want you to know how much my Uncle Sonny blessed me because of how much he blessed my Mother and Brother. He was a good man and I loved how he got closer to the Lord later in life. He’s gonna want to see all you kids in Heaven some day.
God bless you all Your cousin, Shirley Baer,Stanky, Spleen.
