James Walter Hoffman, 81, of Ephrata, passed away surrounded by family on January 7, 2025. Born in Gary, IN, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (McGilligot) Hoffman. He shared over 58 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jean L. “Beaner” (Wert) Hoffman.

Jimbo had a passion for reading, watching every episode of Jeopardy, taking trips to Myrtle Beach, and especially golf. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, had the best sense of humor, and enjoyed listening to oldie’s music. He was a 50-year member of OMPH Church.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by 2 children: Melissa Dulumba (Jason) and Todd Hoffman (fiancée Melissa); and 4 grandchildren: Trey Hoffman, Micah Dulumba, Isabella Hoffman, and Mia Hoffman. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Jack and Robert Hoffman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, 320 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM. You were an amazing father, you have taught me so much throughout the years… My first “legal” beer spent with you! You surprised me with Bob Dylan tickets and we went and it poured and you didn’t even flinch… I love you so much and I can’t wait to join you in heaven, what a beautiful reunion it will be… Forever your little girl..
