Janice M. Andras, 87

Janice M. Andras of Lititz passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on August 7, 2024. Born in Hazelton, PA on June 24, 1937, to Harold and Catherine Trathen. She was the loving wife of Michael P. Andras, Jr., for over 66 years until his passing last year.

Janice’s life revolved around her family and her faith. Janice was a long time, devout member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to being an “Air Force Wife” and devoted mother. She enjoyed baking, hosting family gatherings, celebrating every holiday and birthday, traveling, and her monthly card club. She will also be fondly remembered for her many years of baking and selling hundreds of dozens of Christmas cookies.

Her memories will live on in her daughter, Celeste Olson (Joe Hirneisen) of Wernersville, grandchildren who affectionately called her “Mammy”, Carey Olson (Carrie), Shayla Andras (Christian Harwell), and Alyssa Olson, great grandchildren, Luna & Laine Miller and Bryn & Emil Olson, a daughter in law, Bridget Andras, and a brother, John Trathen (Peg). She was preceded in passing by her parents, husband, a son, Michael H. Andras, and her beloved Pomeranian Lovie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601. The family will receive guests at the church from 10 am to 11 am with Mass beginning at 11 am. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Ephrata.
