Jann Marie Deibert
Jann Marie Deibert, born 2 December 1952 in Williamsport, PA, passed away unexpectedly on 9 January at the age of 59.
Beloved mother of Michael Deibert of New Orleans, Benjamin Deibert of New York City, and Christopher Deibert of Willow Street, Jann was a ray of light and generosity to anyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path. She will be remembered for her selfless and tireless devotion to her three sons, whom she supported in every endeavor and to whom she always provided comforting, reassuring and wise counsel, as well as her love of animals and her boundless compassion to the less fortunate.
In addition to her sons, Jann is survived by her father, James Breon of Strasburg, and her brother Chester and sister Jamella, both also of Strasburg. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Leah M. Breon.

Jann was someone that I could always talk to, and would instantly make me feel good. Thanks, little sister.
Love,
big brother, Chet
You were the first one to read to me on your knee many years ago. It was you who first introduced me to Civil War history and history in general, and who first took me to the state of Florida. It was you who encouraged me to write, who supported me in every endeavour, and you were always a comforting and reassuring voice at the other end of the phone no matter how far away I was. Thank you for all you did for me. You made me the man I am today. Goodbye. Mom. I’ll always love you.
Michael
Jann would often talk proudly of her sons & she truly appreciated them all. She would send me e-mails & websites to update me & Mountville Family Practice on Michael’s adventures & travels, covering the world news stories in difficult & often dangerous locations.
You are in my thoughts.

To the Breon family. I was so sorry to hear that Jann had passed away. I recently saw her at the court house and she looked great. It was so good to see her. I miss all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will remember Jann and all the Breon’s fondly. You have my sincere sympathy.

Thank you Aunt Jann for so much – the trips to Harper’s Ferry and Gettysburg, the Halloween parties, and your cheery and supportive emails and cards. You could always make me laugh. I spent endless hours at your house on Ada Ave as a child. Without you welcoming me into your fold, my childhood would have been lonely. Your devotion to your children, your love and pride in them and your perseverance will always inspire me. I feel blessed and privileged to have known you.
Love,
Emily
