Jessenia M. Bastian, 32
October 14, 2024
Jessenia M Bastian, 32, of Lancaster (formerly of Mountville) passed away unexpectedly in her home on Monday October 14, 2024. She was the daughter of Tom and Debbie Bastian of Mountville.
Jessie was a beautiful mother, friend, sister and daughter. She was a master of all board games, a lover of books and a wicked Harry Potter fan. She loved the outdoors and her cat Onyx. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two beautiful children – a son Michael and a daughter Jevaeh, three sisters – Maria Bastian, Angelina Wallace and Beth Gottschalk and four brothers – Elvin Hernandez, Michael Maleski, Aaren Preston and Kyle Smith.
Jessie, you were a fighter! Life threw you curveballs and you responded with strength, picking up pieces and adjusting along the way. Your mental health challenges were vicious and unrelenting, but you never gave up. With a soft spot for the less fortunate, you were a unique soul with a powerful smile that will be greatly missed. We pray that you now find peace, rest and a sense of noiseless calm.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday November 17, 2024, at 1:30 pm at the Charles F Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E King St. Lancaster, Pa. 17602. Kindly omit flowers. A donation in Jessie’s name can be made to COBY’s Family Services (www.cobys.org).
