Jessie L. Fehl Harnish, 99

Jessie L. Fehl Harnish, 99, of Millersville passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at The Glen at Willow Valley. Born in Lancaster, and raised on the farm that was purchased by her family back in the 1760’s, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Anna S. (Rankin) Fehl. Jessie was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Harnish who passed away in 2018.

She was a graduate of Penn Manor High School. Jessie later went onto receive a degree in Education at the former Millersville State Teachers College. Jessie worked as a teacher in East Lampeter, Penn Manor and Lancaster Township schools.

Jessie is survived by her sister, Joan Fehl of Millersville. Also surviving are her cousins, Helen wife of Bill Kreider and Linda Gerber.

On Jessie’s behalf, the family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the staff at The Glen at Willow Valley for the wonderful care she received while a resident there.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Ave, Millersville, PA 17551.
