My heart is sad, but chockful of warm memories of this dear, kind and good friend. I joined the Emporium Garden Club almost immediatly following moving here in 1974. It did not take long to learn that Joan and I were “kindrid spirits”, with a love of gardening (horticulture and Floral design) at the beginning, but growing into a shared perspective on life, the love of God and the joy of friendship! I am ashamed to say that I lost touch in recent years, but will never forget this dear sweet and graceful LADY!
My prayers are with everyone close to her!!!
