Joan M. Stonesifer, 72

Joan M. Stonesifer, 72, of Willow Street, passed away on November 24, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of Richard “Rick” Stonesifer, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage this past February 16th. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lester C., Sr. and Mary Jane Albright Fisher.
Joan had worked for Valco Inc. for 46 years as an office manager until her retirement. Following this, she worked part time for Steudler Realty.
She was a very active member with her husband at the Riverside Camping Assn.. Her greatest love and treasure was her family, being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great care of her family and she would do anything for them.
In addition to her husband, Rick, she is survived by her daughters: Lori Drexel of Douglasville and Angela Stonesifer of Columbia; her 4 grandchildren: Dillan, Dustin, Kayla and Sierra; her 5 great grandchildren: Aiden, Chase, Layla, Jacob, and Dustin Jr. and by her brothers: Robert Fisher and Lester C. Fisher Jr..
Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA from 1:30-3PM, with the Funeral Service to follow at 3PM.

Dear Rick,love of Joan’s life,husband & father of Lori & Ang. I’m so sorry for your loss.She and Rick were soulmates,it’s a blessing to have found that real love in ones lifetime,God brought you two together.Watching you two over the years left so many special memories,I will hold dear in my heart,I thank you’d for that. As a Mother,of Lori & Ang she loved you both with everything she had.Such a beautiful thing to watch over the years! This grief will lessen with time,but please know through it all that “She” is right there with you.The Mother/ Daughter bond is strong beyond words,not even death can severe that Love.Hold onto the good times,her words of advice will always pop up, just when you need them,how? I don’t know,but they know when there children need that reasurrancea d you will know.Just look up and say I know Mom,thank you I was really needing you.Like always you came through.Love You, MissYou! Rick and family, I am sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. I greatly respect her and all the volunteer work she did at the club. Since I am isolating I cannot be there, otherwise, I would be. Please take comfort in knowing how many lives she touched.

There was not a more faithful worker than Joan. She took care of employees needs yet typed at the speed of lightning. She was able to handle most any problem or would find someone who could.
