Joanne F. Heisler, 82
Joanne F. Heisler, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at The Glen at Willow Valley. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Hess E. and Dora Weimer Fritz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who passed away in 2008. They celebrated 59 years of marriage. The family times of boating on the bay, and their years at their beach house in Stone Harbor were priceless to her. Joanne made her family the focus of her life. She lovingly served as caregiver for both her parents and her husband. She also supported numerous charities and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church.
Her family includes two daughters, Deborah, wife of Walter Zollinger, and Pamela Kinney, both of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Julie Strong, Elizabethtown, Abby, wife of Michael Schultz, Edgewater Park, NJ, Adam Kinney, Lancaster, and Taylor and Trent Kinney, both of Los Angeles, CA; and her two great-grandchildren Olivia and Matthew Schultz. In addition to her husband, Joanne was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Kinney.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Friday, September 16th at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Jr. Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA , with the Rev. Ann S. Osborne officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 2 PM. Private Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
