I was sad to hear of your passing, yet rejoice that you’re with the Lord and your precious son.
I only knew you a short time, but it was my honor and pleasure to serve you (and Ed) as a caregiver.
I look forward to seeing you again!

A friend like you was hard to find, one that touched me deep inside. You gave me strength to carry on, you offered your hand to hold on. When times were tough, I knew you were there, to offer support and show you cared. If not for you, I would have drowned, but you helped keep me on solid ground. I believe you were sent from the man above, because he knew the strength of your love. You showed me that love in so many ways, it helped me get through my darkest of days. So for that, I write this poem for you and tell you from my heart, THANK YOU! Rest in peace my friend, always and forever in my heart, your friend, Debbie

Mrs. O’Connell was one of the believers who laid the foundation for my own walk with Christ…by saying very little but living it out quietly and consistently. Valerie Taylor Shannon
