He was an avid Phillies, Eagles, and Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed classic tv shows, most notably The Three Stooges and Mash.
In addition to his wife of 25 years and his father, John is survived by a son, John Michael Meck, and a daughter, Jennifer R. Meck, both of Lancaster; three sisters: Charlotte DiCola of Lititz and Mary Sue Wiley and Dorothy Meck, both of Ephrata; and a number of nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Our sincere sympathy on John’s passing.  I was John’s Scoutmaster for a National Boy Scout Jamboree and was glad to see that he had continued his Scouting in adulthood.  He truly gave back to other boys what he learned!!

Sincerely,
