John Thomas Miller, 83

John Thomas Miller, age 83 joined his beloved wife Helene in heaven on June 30th 2018. Born in Norwalk, CT on March 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Mary L. and William A. Miller.
“Jack” as he was known to most, a resident of Lancaster, PA, was born raised and lived in Norwalk and Fairfield, Connecticut before moving to Lancaster PA in 2008.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 – 1955. Jack loved the water, and in his younger years loved to fish and play cards. He will be greatly missed by his children Jeanne (Mark) Hastings of Mint Hill, NC, John (Bernice) Miller of Strasburg, PA, his six grandchildren, Jenna (William) Eisan, John (Tenessa) Miller, Kevin (Ashley) Hastings, Matthew Miller, Andrew (Michelle) Miller, Daniel (Rebecca) Miller and 11 great grandchildren.
Jack is survived by two sisters, Patricia Lopez and Carole (Richard) Huse and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William Miller, James Miller, Charles Miller, and sisters Marjorie Denke, Grace Caruso, Jean Mascia and Ann Martineau.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family is especially thankful for the kind and compassionate care received from the staff at Landis Homes and Hospice & Community Care.

John & Jeanne: I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. He is now with your mom and they were both the best of the best. Many fond memories of the card games we used to have. I am sure they are in heaven, along with Bobby, playing cards. All my love and may God comfort you.
