Joseph Albert Radwanski, 73

March 26, 2024

Joseph Albert “Joe” Radwanski, 73, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024. Born in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Veronica (Wojtyna) Radwanski. He celebrated his 36th wedding anniversary with his wife Lindy (Clark) Radwanski on the date of his passing.

He worked as a groundskeeper at Millersville University for 35 years until his retirement in 2018. He was also a proud veteran of the US Navy and served honorably during Vietnam on the USS Hancock. Joe was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, was known for his dry sense of humor, gentle soul, kind and patient nature, and devout Catholic faith. His family affectionately remembers his love of food and sweets, and his joy of taking trips to Central Market and Longwood Gardens.

In addition to his wife Lindy, Joe is survived by step-daughters Tara Kirchgessner and Michelle von Lange, brother Andrew Radwanski (Gail), sister Patty Radwanski, step-brother Jeff Leach (Patti Osborne), step-sister Sharon Twentier, four grandchildren: Frankie, Stella, Ashlynn, and Audrianna; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Irma Radwanksi and a granddaughter, Alexis.
