Dear Aunt and Family,
Very sorry for your loss. Uncle Joe realliy meant a lot to my brothers and me. He stood in as a Father for us, taking us to many pro sporting events in Philly. His humorous commentary on the way to and from those events meant even more to me than seeing the games. Unc could really joke around with us. With love and condolences to the entire family. The world has lost an amazing man. Although I’ve never had the honor of meeting Mr. Mihaliak I’ve heard nothing but praise about him from his daughter Cheryl. On one of our first walks together she told me that there was no one she respected or admired more than her father. In her eyes he was the hardest working man alive and there was nothing he couldn’t fix or bulid, he was her hero! He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies so much that it rubbed off all his wife and children. From what Cheryl said he worshiped the ground her mother walked on. She was his soulmate, the love of his life….hense the marriage lasting 65 years! My thoughts and prayers are with the Mihaliak family, especially Cheryl. Who frankly was the best daughter that her father could ever ask for! Warmest regards, Jack Carter
