Joe was such a beautiful spirit! I met Joe in 2005 while working for a tourist company. He has been nothing but great. We would call and check on each other from time to time. He called me little one and we would chat about the old job and our adventures in downtown Philadelphia. I recently called his number to say hello and saw it was disconnected. I searched his name and it lead me here. I am so very sad, I am going to miss our chats. He was like the grandpa I never had. My condolences to the family. Thank you Joe for being my friend! – Carsondra aka Little One

Jack and I were so very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He was like a brother to me and a very good friend of Jack’s for many, many years. He and I had many fun and interesting conversations on the phone while I was driving home from work which I will remember and cherish fondly.

Joe worked with my husband, Joe Gillis, which is how I got to know him. He was a kind and gentle man. Most recently, he went with us to explore Amish quilt shops when we would come up to Pennsylvania at Christmas. Those were rare opportunities for us to spend time with Joe and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trips. Joe will be missed. Victoria Gillis
