Joshua David Green, 46

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Green, who left us on Sunday, January 26th, at the age of 46. Joshua’s life, though marked by struggles, was also filled with moments of love, joy, and connection. He leaves behind family and friends who will forever carry his memory.
Joshua is survived by his beloved daughter Josalyn Green of Scranton, PA, and his cherished granddaughter Catalina. He is also survived by his father Michael Green of Elizabethtown, PA, his mother Denise Johnson of Lancaster, PA, His only brother Michael Christian of Lancaster, PA, his sister Teresa (who he referred to as his best friend) of Landisville, PA, and his sister Michelle Green, sisters Tonya Pompey, Dione Christian, and Thomasina Christian. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom were loved by him in their own unique way.
Despite the hardships Joshua faced in life, he always held a deep love for his family. He often spoke of his love for his daughter and granddaughter. Joshua’s love for his family was constant, and his memory will live on in their hearts forever.
In his youth, Joshua was known for his exceptional athleticism, excelling in sports throughout school. Later in life, he embraced the faith of Islam, finding peace and purpose on his conversion, and spoke proudly of his ability to communicate in Arabic and Spanish.
While his life was not without its challenges, Joshua’s spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. The family asks that you keep Joshua in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time.
Joshua may have left us too soon but will be missed deeply and loved always.

I can’t believe your gone Josh. We grew up together, played together, and fought like brothers and sisters but no matter what, we always had each others backs. I met Josh so many lives ago although he was a few years younger than me you couldn’t tell us we weren’t boy friend & girl friends in junior high I just remember going to all his football games & wearing his jersey Josh was a great guy & he will be missed by so many folks. My deepest condolences to his beautiful daughter & all his family.
