Kamia J. Wilson, 23

Kamia Jazmine Wilson, 23, transitioned into Heaven on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born on August 12, 1998, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Mark Anthony and Kameela Jeanette (Lyner) Wilson.
Kamia was a humble and loving human being. She had the love of God in her and touched many lives near and far. She attended and graduated from Carter and MacRae E.S., and Phoenix Academy. Kamia was a Lead Teacher at the 10 Hour Care Daycare Centers and Bless The Children Daycare Centers in Lancaster. Kamia loved caring for children. She was very passionate about cooking and singing. She also attended Tec Centro’s Culinary Arts program. Most of all, she loved her family dearly. She loved coordinating our family events and spending time with her friends as well. She was currently a member of New Beginnings Covenant Fellowship Church. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, Kamia is survived by her sisters, Marquesha Wilson, Apryl Forte, and Marquella Wilson; her brothers, Mark Wilson Jr., Jaleel Lyner, Markece Lyner, and twin brother Kamar Wilson; her maternal grandparents, Catherine Jeanette Medina and Ramon Medina; her great-aunt Rachel Graham; her very close cousins, Brianna Smith, Tymire Wilson, and Dominic Stoner; her boyfriend, Malachi Rosado; and her best friend Sarah Stackhouse; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie Wilson and Bettye Sue Wilson; and her uncles, Michael Lyner and Charles Wilson and her aunt Jennifer Selby.
A funeral service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory at 414 E King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12:00 PM. The viewing will be from 10am – 12pm. Committal will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The repast will be at 402 E. King Street, Lancaster PA 17602 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Beginnings Covenant Fellowship Church at 205 W King Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.

We appreciated Kamia’s radiant presence in classes at Tec Centro. Kamia was a charming person, with a quick smile, always especially alert to being supportive to her classmates.
