Kathleen F. Roth, 65
April 27, 2024
Kathleen F. Roth, 65, a cherished member of the Lancaster community, peacefully departed on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Hospice & Community Care of Mount Joy.
Kathy, born and raised in Lancaster, was the beloved daughter of Carl and Fay (Fasnacht) Eberly. For four decades, she dedicated her professional life to various finance roles in Lancaster, culminating in the last 15 years as the Owner/President of Key Business Essentials. Kathy took immense pride and fulfillment in contributing to the success of many small businesses in the area. Working alongside her daughter-in-law, Amanda, over the past decade was a source of great joy and gratitude.
In her leisure time, Kathy reveled in exploring new destinations with friends, with Italy holding a special place in her heart. Her prowess in the kitchen, especially her cupcakes, will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of sitting at her dining room table. She also enjoyed beach outings (especially with the grandkids) and retreats to the family cabin in Potter County.
Kathy leaves behind her parents, Carl and Fay Eberly; her adoring children, Scott (Amanda) Roth and Lindsey Roth; her siblings, Dale (Janet) Eberly, Jay (Sue) Eberly, Dawn (the late Jim) Antes, Sharon (Rod) Burkholder, and Carl (Kerri) Eberly, Jr.; her treasured grandchildren, Sadie, William, and Grace; and her puppy, Maggie.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Interment will be held privately, honoring Kathy’s wishes and the family’s privacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s honor to ASSETS Lancaster, 100 S. Queen St., Suite 246, Lancaster, PA 17603.

Kathy was a neighbor, my friend and supported me in my small consulting & coaching business. We bonded over her beloved puppy Maggie who liked to take a short cut on my lawn to come say hi. Kathy will be missed by the neighborhood …. and by me. But she will always have a special place in my heart.
