Keith L. Harvey, 61

Keith L. Harvey, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his home, at the age of 61.

He was the son of Lynwood and Grace Marie (Cooper) Harvey. Keith was the husband of Monica M. (Gray) Harvey, in which they’ve been married for 5 months, but have been together for 20 years.

Keith served in the United States Marine Corps.

Keith was a member of St. Paul’s Church of God in Christ. He graduated from West Philadelphia High School and went to work at Synergy Employment Group. Keith had a love for music, he played the saxophone, loved cooking, dancing, and singing. He was also an avid fan of the Eagles and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Along with his parents and wife, Keith will be missed by his daughters Sharia Terry, wife of Parrin, of New Jersey, and Kimberly Harvey, of Philadelphia, PA, step-daughters Miesha Ortiz Gray, of Lancaster, PA, Sekea Ortiz Gray, of Lancaster, PA, and Fatazha Francis Gray, of Lancaster, PA, a brother Dr. Mark Harvey, of Texas, sister-in-law Angela Myers, grandchildren; Yaashira, Yusuf, Parrin Jr., and Yazir, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins from Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith J. Harvey, sister, Joyce Holden, and grandparents, Abraham and Josephine Cooper.

Home Going Services will be held at St. Paul’s Church of God in Christ, 215 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603 on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11AM. A viewing will occur between 9AM-11AM, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery followed by Military Honors.
