Kenneth L. Miller, 77

November 23, 2024

Kenneth L. “Kenny” Miller, passed away at his residence on Nov. 23, 2024, at the age of 77. Born and raised in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Carl Miller Sr. and Marie (Haas) Miller. He shared over 52 years of love and memories with his wife Margaret “Peg” (Burke) Miller.

Shortly after graduating from JP McCaskey High School, he was drafted in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. Where he served from 1966 to 1968, obtaining the rank of Specialist 4th Class.

Many will remember Kenny for dedicating over 40 years to Mac-It Corp in Lanc. In 1994, he converted to Catholicism and became a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In his leisure time, he enjoyed keeping the stats for and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, watching NASCAR, fishing, enjoying the horse races or playing poker, all while enjoying a nice cold Busch Beer. He was also a member of the VFW and Otter Lodge in Lanc.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him especially his wife Peg, their children, Paul E. Miller, husband of Dawn, Melissa, wife of Timothy Kaminsky, and Katrina, wife of Darren T. Fritz; grandchildren, Guy Miller (Christina Wolfe), Sebastian Leed, Sierra Leed, Lillian Fritz, and Lea Fritz; great-grandchildren, Aria Alvarez and Evan John Miller, and a sister, Janet Miller. He was preceded in passing by his parents and a brother, Carl “Skip” Miller.

The family will receive guests at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602, on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 10 AM – 12 PM, with a Catholic prayer service beginning at noon. Interment to follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Kenny’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St. Lancaster, PA 17603.

Have 100’s of memories of Uncle Ken,but I’ll say my favorite is there was an
Xfinty driver who didnt qualify,we pushed the car to our campground. Uncle Ken worked on that motor all night, the car qualified the next day and the driver thanked Uncle Ken. Special guy for sure and changed my life..

So sorry for your loss. May God be with you in your time of sorrow. Having Kenny and Peg as neighbors was so much fun. Kenny and my husband had so much in common that we spent lot of time at the house talking football and racing. May he rest in peace.
