Kimberley Anne Hain, 64

February 27, 2024

Kimberly A. (Ember) Hain passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 64 years of age after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Joyce C. Sheaffer and Marshall D. Ember (deceased). She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Eugene E. Hain (Lititz, PA). She is also survived by her brothers Steve A. Ember (Harrington, DE) and Joel D. Ember (Lancaster, PA), niece, Tara K. Casher (Joshua) (Manheim, PA); great nephews Owen and Quinlan Casher; stepfather, Hayden L. Sheaffer and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Kim graduated from Ephrata High School in 1978 and worked in many local drapery shops including Dutchmade Draperies and Fancy Works before working at Weis Pharmacy (Lititz, PA) for many years. Kim enjoyed her 2 cats, Nugget and Digit, and also enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales. She was a very good baker and cook, carrying on a legacy from both her mother and grandmother, who are and were exceptional cooks.

Kim was also a very compassionate individual who was always the first to offer help to someone in need or to visit someone in the hospital. She was also always the first to offer to take family members to Dr. appointments without even having to ask. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

The service will be held at Spacht-Snyder Funeral Home (Lititz, PA) on March 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm with visitation at 2:00 pm and a celebration of life to follow at 4:00 pm at Brunnerville Fire Hall, Pine Hill Road in Brunnerville, PA.
