To the family of Ruthie, Arnie and I would like to extend our sympathy.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.  We were both classmates of Ruthie at Octorara High School.  Ruthie was such a pleasant person and we know she will be sorely missed by both family and friends.  The last time we saw and spoke with Ruthie was at our 50th high school class reunion.  She was her usual happy perky self. Rest in peace, Ruthie.

I am so sad to hear my childhood’s best friend has passed away.  Ruthie was a
wonderful person, so genuine and so loving!  She brought sunshine to the world and a more loving wife, mother and grand (&Great)grandmother there has never been!  However, I know Ruthie is in heaven and free from all the physical problems that tied her to this earth.  Heaven is richer – we are sad but I will see her again and we will be made brand new!  I am sorry I never had the chance to meet her girls but please know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families.  God Bless you Richard and comfort you in this great time of sadness.

My name is Rose Gibble Bowell and my sister Jane Gibble Lewis just called to tell me of the passing of your loved one. My parents Wayne/Viola Gibble were good friends of Josh/Ethel Black. So suddeningly and shocking. Will be praying for you all during this time of grieving. We rely on God’s strength during these hard times.

Rich, I am so sorry to hear about Ruth. No one called us to let us know, and it was by accident that I came across the obituary. She was a very nice person, and I know she made you happy. My prayers go out to you and the family as I’m sure you are going thru alot of emotions right now.
